How to request account deletion

You can delete your CirroGuide account directly from within the app:

1. Open CirroGuide on your device.
2. Tap the Account icon or navigate to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Alternatively, you can request deletion by emailing support@cirroguide.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from CirroGuide's servers:

• Your CirroGuide account profile (name, email address, profile photo URL)
• Scan summaries and storage usage statistics synced to your account
• Device registration records associated with your account
• Any cross-device relay data or temporary sync state

What data is not deleted by CirroGuide

CirroGuide does not store your Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive files. Deleting your CirroGuide account does not affect files in your cloud storage providers — only your CirroGuide account data is deleted.

Local data on your device (scan caches, settings, and provider sessions) is removed when you sign out of CirroGuide or uninstall the app.

Retention period

All account data is deleted within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request. Backups containing your data (if any) are purged within 90 days. No account data is retained beyond this period.
